中国艺术家“震后造家”行动是[font=Verdana][font=Verdana]艺[font=Verdana]术[font=Verdana]界[/font][/font][/font][/font]震后[font=Verdana]善[font=Verdana]举[font=Verdana]中[font=Verdana]最[font=Verdana]受[font=Verdana]关[font=Verdana]注[font=Verdana]的大型赈灾行动[font=Verdana][font=Verdana][font=Verdana]之[font=Verdana]一[/font][/font][/font][/font][/font][/font][/font][/font][/font][/font][/font][/font]，由北京大学“中国现代艺术档案”[font=Verdana]于5[font=Verdana]月14[font=Verdana]日[/font][/font][/font] 率先发起，吴作人国际美术基金会、亚洲艺术基金会、中国文化艺术研究中心、北京大学教育财政科学研究所、《画刊》 编辑部[font=Verdana]作[font=Verdana]为[font=Verdana]共[font=Verdana]同[font=Verdana]发[font=Verdana]起[font=Verdana]人[/font][/font][/font][/font][/font][/font][/font]。吴作人国际美术基金会[font=Verdana]还[/font]拨出专款、设立专项基金（吴作人国际美术基金会“中国艺术家震后造家行动专项基金”），支持活动的组织运作。
中国艺术家“震后造家”行动的支持媒体有：新华网书画频道、中央电视台、Tom美术同盟网、雅昌艺术网、《艺术财经》、艺术国际、文化部《音乐生活报-作品送拍周刊》、世纪在线-中国艺术网、浙江艺术网、《当代美术家》、东方视觉网、搜狐网、《新京报》等。
中国艺术家“震后造家”行动集合艺术界一切力量，为灾区人民重建家园。向全国近600家画廊、上百个收藏机构或个人发布捐赠作品信息，积极促成作品的义卖和认购。由北京大学中国现代艺术档案和吴作人国际美术基金会组织的专门展览会，其义卖收入将全部用于灾后艺术机构设施重建和艺术从业人员的救助。行动自2008年5月14日开始，为期一年。“震后造家”行动范围内的各类活动收入将按国家规定进入各种慈善机构。
